jon lee hardee, southern born and raised in florida. moved to new orleans in the mid 90's & is currently splitting time between new orleans & his new home in san francisco. a singer/songwriter/musician/engineer. he started playing guitar at the age of 11 & found himself working in the music business by the time he was 18. a couple of shitty bands & a buncha shitty gigs later....he was well on his way. did his first national tour in 92'. by the time he got to new orleans he was mixing cats like Allen Toussaint & Dr. John and globe trotting with Glenn Frey & Joe Walsh. these days find him touring with the likes of Ani Difranco, Zap Mama, Dan the Automator, Galactic, WeeN, amongst others, as a sound engineer 'extraordinaire'. the professor gets a little on the side with studio work & the occassional voiceovers. despite the joy that comes from having been able to mix & engineer so many great people, his focus is now more on playing & creating music. a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger & producer. enjoys all things music, all kinds-all types. life is like a Musical.
